Creative and Engaging Lessons
If you are expecting English lessons with me to be about endless grammar workbook activities, or memorising page after page of vocabulary, you will not find any of that here!

My lessons focus on communication. This means that every lesson will include a bit of everything (Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening). You will be expected to communicate (and make mistakes!) from lesson 1. Frequent error correction and revision is a part of every lesson too. Making mistakes and learning from them are important in language learning as this is how we improve. In addition to this communicative approach, some lessons will also include projects and task based scenarios where you have to APPLY English and not simply memorise it.

Knowledge and Experience
With over 10 years teaching experience, of all ages and abilities, across three different countries, there is little that I have not experienced. This means that the effort I put into creating my lessons has been personally, carefully, and thoughtfully decided on based on the vast experience and knowledge that I have acquired as a teacher. This wealth of experience also means that I can share with you all of the best tips and best strategies to fulfil your learning needs.

However, I do not look only to the past. I am constantly learning new techniques and actively researching modern teaching methodologies. I take my job as an educator very seriously and I like to keep up to date with the latest research and continuing professional development.

Student Support
Once you become one of my students, you are always one of my students! I will do whatever I can to support you and remain available for any questions or queries that you may have. I provide many ways to stay in touch. I am only a message away if my students need me. In fact, my high level of student support is something that many of my previous students have commented on.

In addition to making myself available for student queries, I also provide regular tutorials to monitor student progress and resolve doubts as lessons progress. I also conduct a FREE needs analysis with private students which helps me to plan and personalise lessons according to the needs and interests of each individual student before agreeing to teach them. This helps to ensure that I can offer the best service and support possible.

Honesty
Just because I can teach you, does not mean that I should teach you. By this, I mean that I will only accept you as a private student if I truly believe that I can help you following our needs assessment. If I do not feel that I can help you sufficiently, I will tell you and guide you to the right places. I will not simply take your money and give you a service that is average at best.

My students are very important to me, and I pride myself on my high-quality service and dedication to them. This is also why I make my pricing both transparent and fair.
